How-to: Farfiknugan

A farfiknugan is simply a reverse royale. If you don't get what I mean from that, think of a frontside, now imagine that with the front foot angled in the opposite direction. That would be a farfiknugan.
The first thing I should say is that you must be fairly comfortable with both your royales and your frontsides. This is a very hard trick to do, and I would not recommend this to anyone who is not at least an intermediate skater.
The farfiknugan is done one of two ways. One involves doing a frontside and switching the front foot after you have locked in the back foot. The other involves jumping into the position, but I am not quite good enough to do that, so I can offer very little in the way of advice for that method. Let's just say that that is tough.
Get up a SMALL amount of speed, and do a frontside, then, shift your weight back a little bit and switch the direction of your front foot. You will now fall, because you are thinking of how a royale looks, and you shift your weight forward. That is the only major mistake you can really make doing a farfiknugan. Keep your weight over your back foot, and you should have very few problems.
