How-to: Mizou

Mizou is Japanese for water, water is cool, and soon enough someone thought that it should be a name for a grind, and that is how the inverted soul grind came to be. A Mizou is a grind where you put your back foot in the royale position, and your front foot in the soul grind position (make sure your soul foot's toe is facing forward).
To do a Mizou, just do a royale, and put your front foot on in the soul position. Your front foot should have it's toe facing forward, otherwise it is called a soyale! It helps to have the brunt of your weight on your royale foot, as most skates have a small inner sole area, so putting your weight on your front foot will destabilize you. Take this trick slow, it is easy to ge unbalanced.
